Centennial Park & Canal Walk: 21st & Lothbury by City Parking Lot, Middlesboro; wall of personalized memorial bricks behind park water fountain; Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Korean War memorials.
Chained Rock: U.S. Hwy. 25E in Pine Mountain State Resort Park; huge chain anchored to boulder appears to hold rock in place 1,000 feet above the city of Pineville. (606) 337-3066

Cumberland Ford: Historic area near Pineville where Dr. Thomas Walker, Daniel Boone and the pioneers crossed the Cumberland River.
Cumberland Gap National Historic Park: US 25E, south of Middlesboro; covers 20,305 acres in KY, TN, & VA; second largest historical park in the nation; Visitor center, museum, Pinnacle overlook, Gap Cave, Hensley's Settlement, trails.

Cumberland Gap Tunnel: U.S. Hwy 25E, twin-bore, 4,600 foot tunnels that pass under the Cumberland Gap, technologically one of the most unique tunnels in the world.
First Presbyterian Church: North 20th St., Middlesboro; organized in 1889, Presbyterian congregation was first to build in the "new" city of Middlesborough. Original church replaced in 1912 on same lot.
Henderson Settlement & Log House : KY 190, off US 25E, 18 miles SW of Pineville; founded 1925, this 1,300 acre mission includes a church, demo farm, greenhouse, orchards, garden, hiking trail, gymnasium, recreational ball fields, courts, dining hall, converted guest houses. (606) 337-3613

Narrows Overlook: US 25E North, across from the Wasioto Winds Golf Course. Dr. Thomas Walker discovered another passage after crossing the Cumberland Gap. Hike to see.
